Cadeby Homes is a family-run business and each member of the team has a real passion for building the perfect family home in desirable towns and villages across Leicestershire. The team hand-picks the locations for the developments based on knowledge of the local area, only building homes within 20 mile radius of the office. From planning through to the move-in day and beyond, the directors pride themselves in being with the homebuyers every step of the way through the journey. This unique approach very much needed to be reflected in the design of each development.

With a brief of refreshing the brand without changing the long-established logo, I moved away from the very corporate navy blue they were currently using. Each development now has its own chosen earthy colour to reflect the family business’s farming background, as well as a hand drawn illustration to suggest the hands-on nature of the business. Typography doesn’t change so that each development is easily recognisable as a Cadeby Homes site, despite the colour change and illustration.

As a homeowner currently in the process of and selling our home for something larger, I am rather envious when a new development brief lands in my inbox.
